Must have been a bit of squeaky bum time until the 64th minute Slacker, but well done.🤥

Great prediction from Faz for the Everton game 1-1, Arsenal saved me from a humiliation. All to play for today and dare I say tomorrow.⚽

If only .... Spurs had scored one more.
If only .... Arsenal had scored one less.

Not complaining, I'm all square on points with the reigning champ so far this week.

Nooooooooobody predicted Soton beating Leicester 😲

Footballs, a funny old game.
Only 20 points in total scored by players in Sunday's 3 fixtures.
@spicy_girl being the only player to predict a Brighton win against Wet Sham, and @BigHewer faith in Newcastle earning a draw against Man City.

More than can be said about our Leeds supporters base, who never gave Leeds a chance against Chelsea.
Shame, oh ye of little faith.

My team Man Utd take on Liverpool today in a game to be savoured, forgotten, although the result should earn some points for a few players. Yes, I've gone beyond having little faith to no faith at all. 🥺

Game week 4 fixtures. Commencing Sat Aug 27th.

Southampton v Manchester United
Brentford v Everton
Brighton & Hove Albion v Leeds United
Chelsea v Leicester City
Liverpool v AFC Bournemouth
Manchester City v Crystal Palace
Arsenal v Fulham
Aston Villa v West Ham United
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Newcastle United
Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur

Yes , as I am in the U.K. i shall pay a visit to the Holy Shrine ( Elland Road ) and flagellate myself in public for recompense !!

My prediction of the upcoming Brighton game will also reflect on my shame and lack of faith ………. will a draw suffice ? …….. after all they will have tired legs from the long bus journey down there 😳

“ Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel revealed after his side's mauling by Leeds that he and his coaching staff had been forced to take the bus to West Yorkshire rather than fly with their players. “

Well, I'm forced to eat my own words after Man Utd performance yesterday evening.
Sunday and Monday's fixtures resulted in a total tally of 60 points for players predictions, @Slacker77 getting 40 of those points for his correct 2-1 forecast of the Man Utd v Liverpool game  🙏

Who would have thought, and placed a bet before the start of the season on Leeds being in the top 3 and Liverpool being in the bottom 5 after 3 games 🤔

No change and no surprise, who is currently top of the leaderboard (again).

Just for some excitement, if figures excite you that is (not the 36-23-34 variety), I've added the average weekly points total for those players that participated in the game last season 2021-2022, and in addition an average weekly points tally for this season 2022-2023.

Game week 3 XLS results.

For the first time ever, the Premier League will take a prolonged mid-season break to accommodate the winter 2022 World Cup in Qatar.  The World Cup will kick off with the first fixture between the hosts Qatar v Ecuador on Sunday, November 20th 2022. The final will be played on Sunday, December 18th.

As a result, Premier League sides will play 16 rounds of fixtures before breaking for the World Cup, with the last set of matches before the pause to be played on the weekend of November 12th, 2022. Fixtures will resume again on Boxing Day, December 26th.

Ultimately, this means the FFFF, LPS and the FPL games will be suspended during the World Cup event.

However, I'll be conferring with @BigHewer to fill this void with a separate World Cup game along the lines of the LPS or FFFF game - watch this space!
