Another mediocre round of point scoring for week 14, with nobody scoring triple figures.

@BigHewer is just clinging onto the top of the leaderboard by the skin of his teeth, but it's hotting up at the top, with 6 players all within 120 points of taking over the lead, before we go into the World Cup break.

Could we have a new leader next week?

Week 15 fixtures - Kick off, Sat 5th Nov 2022, 1500 UK time.

Leeds United v AFC Bournemouth
Manchester City v Fulham
Nottingham Forest v Brentford
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Brighton & Hove Albion
Everton v Leicester City
Chelsea v Arsenal
Aston Villa v Manchester United
Southampton v Newcastle United
West Ham United v Crystal Palace
Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool

Some tough fixtures and calls this week IMO.

Bottom of the table clashes, with only 3 points separating mid-table positions from the relegation zone.
Is this the time for the big boys to step up, such as West Ham and Leicester, that you usually don't associate with a possible relegation fight.

Leeds United v Bournemouth
Can Leeds capitalism on their great win this week, or will Bournemouth who played well against Spurs upset the cart.

Nottingham Forest v Brentford
Both equally inconsistent, although NF are showing improvements.

Wolves v Brighton
Wolves just can't score goals, whilst Brighton after a recent decline got back to winning ways this week.

Everton v Leicester
Everton don't want to be pulled back into a dogfight, whilst Leicester with Jamie Vardie back desperately need the win and may fancy this game to lift them out of the relegation zone.

West Ham v Crystal Palace
West Ham doing well in Europe, but suffering with results in the Premiership, while CP have been grinding out some positive results.

Not relegation fixtures, but;
Chelsea v Arsenal.
A derby match neither will want to lose. Will Arsenal continue their march on, or will Chelsea bounce back after that shock result this week.

Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool.
Flip a coin!
Spurs after a recent decline bounced back by coming from behind this week to win, whilst Liverpool are just blowing hot and cold. Will they blow hot or cold this week is the question?

Very good round up Faz. I might just jump in and preview the other three fixtures.

Aston Villa v Manchester United
Another coin flipper. Two teams you wouldn't risk your best teacup on.
Will the whining, clipboard-wielding Unai Emery make a difference to the hapless Villans? Or will the Red Devils pull off an away win, heralding yet another false dawn?

Manchester City vs Fulham
Battle of the striker bully boys. If the EPL is the Under 10s, the Citizens and Fulham have both snuck in an Under 15s striker into their lineups in Haaland and Mitrovic.
This looks like a foregone conclusion, but the Cottagers like to get at teams away from home and have a master tactician in Marco Silva, who knows exactly what City will try to do.

Southampton vs Newcastle
What a great naval shipbuilding tradition on the south coast. Fitting, as the Saints lurch from port to port, taking fire from all sides. Also word of a munity forcing Captain Hasenhuettl to walk the plank. Can they turn things around at home this week, or will the Mighty Toon put another hole in their pock-marked hull?

Sutton’s predictions are pure gold this week. He’s gone to war on Red Devils fans’ use of the term “United” and declared that he will refer to the team as “Manchester United” only. He reserves the term “United” for Newcastle United, as they are higher up the table 😂😂😂

He could just refer to them as the 'United' that's won the title more than any other club.  😁

Generally, week 15 brought some better points scored than the previous two weeks fixtures, although not every player may feel so.

Congratulations to @spicy_girl who shows us her 'dish of the picks' this week, returning a top score of 130.
@Faz was the only other player to score in treble figures with 100.

@BigHewer still tops the leaderboard ..... just, with @Faz and @Marble-eye now standing on his trailing shoelaces. @Slacker77 returning some consistent scores and creeping up on the leaders, whilst @Chaimai and @DwizzleyMatthews have suffered a setback and struggled in the last 3 weeks, averaging just 50 points a week.

Week 16 fixtures.
Kick off Sat, Nov 12th, 1230 UK time.

Manchester City v Brentford
AFC Bournemouth v Everton
Liverpool v Southampton
Nottingham Forest v Crystal Palace
Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds United
West Ham United v Leicester City
Newcastle United v Chelsea
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Arsenal
Brighton & Hove Albion v Aston Villa
Fulham v Manchester United

Last chance to pick up some valuable points before we break for the World Cup.
Time to don the thinking cap, gaze into a crystal ball, phone a friend, 50/50, or ask the audience (or animal).
Can @BigHewer go into the break still leading the competition, or will he be usurped by one of the chasing pack. Squeaky bum time!
Tune in, same time, same channel, next week, to find out.

Although @Chaimaiand @DwizzleyMatthews would be slightly less sad if they got the 10 points for the Arsenal win 🤔

Just testing @DwizzleyMatthews 🙄

It pays to keep members on their toes, and nice to know someone checks my scoring.
You can be my VAR man ......... is that a 'yes' or a 'no'.
Easy to suffer from colour-blind spots when entering all those results and points.

Apologies and amended week 15 results below.
