One Bangkok doctor is warning the public of lung infections associated with the new sub-variant of Covid-19. The doctor, Nithipat Jearakul, is the head of Siriraj Hospital’s Department of Respiratory Disease and Tuberculosis. Nithipat says that the BA.5 subvariant of Omicron is as harmful to the lungs as the previous Delta variant. However, most people with lung infections are part of vulnerable groups. Nithipat says that out of all people being treated for Covid-19, about 800 have lung infections. He said this makes up about 8% of Covid-19 hospitalisations. Another Poor Article & Misleading Headline here. Highlighting that Covid causes lung infections is another pointless “ we know !” “water is wet” tale.

Buried deep is the true statement purpose. Maximize your Covid Vax to increase odds of not getting ICU’d or Dead.

Everyone with a lung infection (Nithipat context) is by definition not in the green group (government context).

Nithipat observed that if a lung infection occurs, they're mostly A) old/pregant/unhealthy and B) not boosted.

In the green group, there are also old/pregnant/unhealthy people. Some of them are boosted, others are not. Either way, they have not developed a lung infection.

The obvious "key" question here is the ratio of boosted :: not boosted in the lung infected group versus the green group limited to the old/pregnant/unhealthy people. Those ratios could be similar, in which case boosters play an insignificant role. They could be hugely different, in which case boosters should be promoted.

Well, what are those ratios? Articles (or rather statements made by people like Nithipat or government spokespersons) like this make no sense without numbers.

This current BA.5 strain is beginning to receive some attention from a variety of circles.

After numerous sub-strains and variants that have proven to be lesser than/tapering off for the last couple of years, this BA.5 variant appears to be much more nasty and potent, as it's been putting thousands down worldwide. Hospitalizations are 20 fold and associated deaths are growing. 

Not hearing much about it by way of the MSM....

Perhaps COVID has remade herself.

Just looked him up on Wiki and it seems the Covid-holier-than-thou club really hate him for daring to state what a lot of people think about the woohoo phloo - overstated deaths and the use of Ivermectin as a valid treatment/preventive.

I guess there is fear he might be tampering with their profit margins...

Maybe Michael Yeadon, ex vice president and chief scientist of Pfizer, or maybe Robert Malone who was one of the developers in creating the mRNA technology are competent enough for you. I agree that a lot of people who don't have medical qualifications have entered discussions about highly specialized topics. But you can't choose the specialists you WANT to believe and censor those you WANT to silence. Most small time aspiring dictators worldwide have used and abused the Covid 19 virus to pursue their own little petty dreams of authoritarian rule. But I don't need to be a medical expert to see that a lot that has happened during these last two years don't add up. Certainly an injection that was presented as a vaccination, but doesn't seem to do what is was promoted to do springs to mind. The figures are available for whoever wants to do some research. And there is a dramatic increase in the so called SADS since the introduction of the mRNA injections. Especially among young and healthy people. Unrelated to the so called vaccine ? Your GUESS is as good as mine.
