With respect the governor should be careful dealing with the Chinese because there’s always conditions. Better to use clean money and Thai labour.

There is no way this will work for the benefit of Thai people. Review how many countries (including Africa) have from Chinese "investment".

This will be a little like the plan to allow foreigners to own land in Thailand. Invest 40 million baht to gain the right to buy property on a maximum of 1600sq/m of land.

The advantage will be very one sided and on this occasion Thailand will be on the wrong side of the ledger.

Why are they so interested in Chinese backing?

is it they have offered paper bags of money under the table to rush the projects and have China having a foot hold over the Government!

why don’t we wait until a New Government takes office for these big decisions for the future of Thailand!

Why is the Prime Minister in a rush to do these Multi million projects before he leaves office !

come on ?

Are Thailand People that dumb you can’t see how the alleged corruption could be behind decisions that he won’t even be the Prime Minister?

I s it a quick cash grab before leaving office?

Western companies and governments tend not to supply those brown envelopes.

So where is a poor government official meant to turn to in order to maintain his lifestyle?

Western governments tends to just supply weapons - e.g. Iran-Contra Affair (among others)

Ain't gonna stop it. So bring it on. Hopefully the value of our Sukhumvit Condo will finally go to the moon, like in every other popular city on this tragic planet.

Chinese teachers is where the infiltration starts, as the west have finally woken up to!

Now massive clean outs of western university faculties and banning the innoctious "Confucius Society" which were CCP Agent recruitment grounds, and also leaned on democratic local Chinese media to print what the party wanted.

Anyway, up to them. I'll be long dead by the time they're all waving a little red book at school assembly here! 😁

Who says he's leaving office? The system is already so rigged that even if he loses he wins, didn't you follow the last election? 😁
