The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand – CAAT – has given airlines the green light to serve food and drinks again on domestic flights in Thailand. Yesterday, the CAAT announced that director Sutthiphong Kongpool has signed regulations to allow passengers on domestic flights in Thailand to be served food and drinks again, under strict Covid-19 prevention measures, effective immediately. The measures include that food must be served in pre-packaged containers and drinks must be served in bottles. Must have been almost the only country left in the world with this policy. 

It was indeed. Vietnam, China etc. all lifted these bans months ago.

Little by little, we can only hope the sanity returns........far too slowly, but it is starting to move in the right direction!!!

I flew Air Asia and was in the premium seats in front that come with a meal

 

They served us the meal but told us we can't eat it!  5555

 

It was to take with us................unreal

Hopefully that example of insanity happened before this rule changed yesterday!!
