With storms and high winds around Thailand, lifeguards at the popular Patong Beach in Phuket are warning people of the dangerous surf on the shores of the storm-blown ocean. What have strong tide times plus higher and stronger windwaves to do with a tsunami? Right now, there are big tide differences which create stronger currences. On top comes, that the zones where the rip currents and undertow areas happen, are getting moved by this and the direction of windwaves ,too. The beaches are now changing  the outlines, so is the sandy sea bed in front of them. That is a "every year again" process, nothing new.
