This place is like the Phillipines, Cambodia, Singapore. A few (or one) family gets in power, and nothing much seems to ever change. At least the police state of Singapore is exceptionally well run. 

The rest just swap turns at the kleptocratic table.

Future Forward all but destroyed. 

Any Shinawatra is no better than any Marcos.

If the elites don't like the way whoever wins is running things, the tanks come out, and we're back with the dinosaurs in uniform.

Oh well, so long as they leave me and the weed alone, let them keep lining their pockets and disenfranchising the masses. Resistance, especially as an expat, is futile.
