Oh boy. More China hot air blowing. Hong Kong is dead as we liked it *(shame), and Thailand was ruined by the huge number of groups of Chinese being creating overkill. If Thailand keeps it under wraps control then no problem, but these muckety mucks alway muck it up and never are the ones experiencing it on the streets. Don't know actually anyone here who is excited about them coming back in huge numbers, but that probably goes for every country.

I can’t see Bangkok to China routes having any kind of success in the medium term with all the restrictions in China. Could be a good opportunity for other destinations to fill the void in the interim.

Maybe not to the benefit of Thais etc, think more for the benefit of the Chinese, plane arrives BKK full of Chinese goes home full of Chinese. China controls departures and arrivals in China to maintain zero covid tolerance.
