Google maps entering coordinates

How come there's a difference between Google Maps on a PC and the Android App of the same name?

! wanted to paste some coordinates to find a location.
On a PC it's fine. It takes me to the place on the side of a road.
Using the Android App, pasting the same data in and I get "No results found on Google Maps"

This is the latitude and longitude:   17.31176, 102.66123   It's just a minor road outside of Udon.

What makes the Android map version so difficult?

I get to the same location on both PC and Android G/Maps.

If I paste this GPS of Udon Thani Post Office, it works   17.4164957,102.7879426 

But by pasting the GPS below, this is what I see:

Any suggestions?

Try inserting a period/full stop, after 102

Oh, what a tosser I am! (it's probably too much tossing made me blind, hence not noticing the missing full stop)
