Pattaya is expecting a tourism revival now that the government has lifted another Covid-19 restriction and nightlife is allowed to open until 2 am. I am genuinely pleased that Patts will be allowed to stay open late. It'll revitalize the local economy, it'll provide work to individuals and incomes to families who have long gone without, it'll restore some confidence and security to people's lives and it'll help kick-start tourism again.

However...

Rarely do good things happen in Pattaya, on the street, at 2 AM.
