The temple’s former accountant, Channarong Phiandi, has made a fresh complaint against the abbot, Phra Sutheerattanabundit, maintaining he embezzled 95 million baht and disposed of a partially cremated corpse into the Chao Phraya River, which runs through Bangkok. Ah the clergy, no matter the denomination.

Heavens' moral watchdogs have always been the foxes guarding the henhouse.

It wasn't until the late 20th Century when they were finally de-fanged by western modernity, that the jig was up, until then it was the biggest racket, and pedo factory, of all time.

Still is money for nothing on "Christian" television, and in all the Muslim world, where it's actually blasphemy to criticise a cleric. What a watertight rort they have going!

Think not all as it appears on this one.

Story keeps changing (as they do in Thailand). One monk withdrew the money then 3 people withdrew the money.

In the end the money will be gone.

Nope, it is just in someone elses pocket. Did someone look into the (newer?) wealth of the families of the one or the three?
