PayPal announced its service will be up and fully operational in Thailand this year under its registered company name PayPal Thailand. To use the service, current users would be required to verify their identities via the Thai National Digital ID, and this process requires a Thai national ID card. Wise don't wanna transfer money out of Thailand, PayPal assumingly also isn't "willing", too.

why the government once again put a knife in everyone's back of their greediness, PAYPAL still USELESS you can not even withdrawal so why use it, only Thai people can use it, Discrimination AGAIN, Thailand grow up and go with the time stop making difference between black or white, or you want we call you monkeys???? because you act like a monkey. You destroying people's live and business was covid not enough? come up with a good plan for EVERYONE in Thailand we do not mind to pay some taxes (because that is the only reason) we not like you so long as we can do our business like everyone. Depends on their interpretation of Thai ID. I just tried down to get into Maya Beach and they flat out said nope. Only Thai ID as got the feeling they were counting the foreingers ching ching ching ching.. Was worth the try though.
