PayPal announced its service will be up and fully operational in Thailand this year under its registered company name PayPal Thailand. To use the service, current users would be required to verify their identities via the Thai National Digital ID, and this process requires a Thai national ID card. Depends on their interpretation of Thai ID. I just tried down to get into Maya Beach and they flat out said nope. Only Thai ID as got the feeling they were counting the foreingers ching ching ching ching.. Was worth the try though.
