These animals has to be taught a good lesson. Not simply apologizing and getting away with it. Lucky it was Thailand. If it is Malaysia, then different story. First he will get the blessings from the crowd, then the blessings from the authorities.

Fast-forward a year: he got fired over this incident, had to forfeit his house, developed a liver disease and w0ke up (*) in hospital after having been run over due to being distracted about all the woes that happened ever since his picture labeled "sex pest" was exposed by a Thaiger article... Finally, luck turns when a lawyer friend specialized in the Personal Data Protection Act suggests to claim damages.

The above scenario is obviously fictive and a huge exaggeration (it's just to make a point). The point is that some pixel blurring is in order as a pre-emptive measure to prevent leaking personal data now and getting stung later.

PS: perhaps the leading picture would have been different if the story concerned an influential Thai instead of a low-risk foreigner, but such a difference shouldn't matter.

(*): "w0ke up" is an intentional typo. The correct spelling is deemed so wrong that it is not allowed by Thaiger.

But then suddenly after the interview Then a story happened with the page of Miss Jock Jock. that is being broadcast live, can store images when there are foreigners wearing blue shirt Find a rhythm to walk towards Cucumber Kasama Suetrong, 3rd runner-up, Miss Universe Thailand 2021, then Cucumber cried to Mae Pui Piyaphon that this person caught a rat's butt.

Mae Pui then walked in and asked the foreign man. Before the foreign man walked away, but Mae Pui and the MUT team followed until they found him. and there was talk and snatching which Mae Pui had cleared and almost threw her hand to hit the foreigner. Before pulling him to apologize, cucumber, and there was talk until the foreign man raised his hand to apologize to cucumber. before dispersing without any serious incidents.

Wasn't there a Thai-law against this?

I mean, against sexual harassing , but also against public online shaming?

The right thing to do, here, would have been to call the police to deal with it (they could legally do a photo session, with pointing fingers and no one telling the farang, that he could legally hide his face, like most higher status Thai are doing always), an in case of putting it online, blurring all bystanders and the cullprits face.

So, usually, Thai authorities would need to go after all websites, that post this pictures/video.

Never happening, methinks. That law is just out, to protect the rich and powerfull wrongdoers

No evidence of a sexual assault, other than they unintentionally possibly brushed past each other in a crowded area. The man appears perfectly sober, water bottle in hand.

6 min 30 sec into the video, only one aggressor that could be accused of assault, the woman in the wannabe 'Loki' costume. Sensationalised news to make something out of nothing, IMO.

"sex pest"- SO, every foreign visitor to Pattaya is a sex pest (you might be right)? Why not call everyone that lives or visits Pattaya a sex pest when doing an article in Pattaya?

The man "may" have purposefully or unintentionally touched someone but there is NO film evidence that ANYTHING occurred, so running such a headline can only be for one reason.

They obviously didn't, otherwise they would realise that they are leaving themselves wide open for defamation charges.

There is no assault in the video and the foreigner does not even appear drunk.

If you bothered to read at the bottom of the 'full story' you'd have seen that the source of the news was 'Thairath' and 'Khaosod'. The Thaiger merely copied the news articles.

Please look closely. The man made his first appearance  at 4.35 as he walks up the stairs ahead of the plaintiffs. At 4.30 is climbing the stairs with the complainant in lime green dress, there appears to be physical interaction near 4:40 with the accused then staking out a position at the top of the stairs at 4.50. At 5.10 he is in close proximity to the lime green dress and trying to engage  lime green dress until  at 5.16-5.17 when lime green turns around and asks for assistance from friends. At the same time, the accused  is seen speaking to them,  Lime green dress appears distraught. That's a legit look of "creep annoyance" on the  lady boy's face.

The physical action itself may not have been recorded, but this guy gives up some  bad vibes with his following and then attempting to engage the ladyboy.  The ensuing response from the accused suggest someone that is not open with his interest in lady boys.

The touch may have been innocent in nature, but I am convinced from the man's body language and  facial expressions that he was making  a move on the lime green dress person and was rebuffed.

If it was Tom Cruise, or the Thai equivalent, shim would probably have been grinning like the Cheshire Cat and bragging about it. imo, a big fuss about very little.

Watch the  victim's initial reaction. It is a WTF moment. I don't think the event was as severe as suggested, but I have no doubt that accused was trying to engage with the ladyboy and was too fresh.
