Apparently, they could also mutate into vegan hippies and spray-paint peace symbols on the tanks.

Each and every day the roll-out of the Government's Ganga policy gets worse and worse.

If you look at other jurisdictions which legalized, either or both recreational and medicinal, they all instituted a public education campaign in advance of "L" day. It is quite simple; implement guidelines, either by law/regulation or by social more, to keep people from smoking near schools and/or public spaces. Publish information about quantities and/or strength, so that people know what specifically to take, how much, and perhaps most importantly, when NOT to take it. Finally, rather than sell test kits which won't ever be used, force producers to label their product so that consumers know what it is, how strong it is, and what it is for. A very easy 'rule of the thumb' is that a quarter gram is roughly the equivalent of a bottle of beer or a glass of wine; adjust as needed.

The roll-out by the Thai government has made Thai people even more ignorant (in the classical sense of the word) than they were before.

"This week, Bangkok Governor Chadchart admitted he was concerned about the lack of clarity on cannabis policies after the decriminalisation of cannabis on June 9. He feared the lack of guidelines and accompanying legislation has led to confusion and incorrect assumptions following the announcement."

It is hard to blame the Governor; it is a clusterF**k. However, there is no turning back, so the government better get its act together quickly.

Weed is legal in roughly 30 countries; a roll-out can be done easily and effectively with a bit of effort. This is a demonstrated fact.

To coin a phrase...

"Get on the Pot, Thailand!"

Why does it take a Prime Minister to ban recreational drugs from all military premises and bases?

This should be a  rule entrenched many years ago.

Ahem, it has been illegal & banned for many years.

Hello, read the news recently? Cannabis is being legalised in LoS.

This rule has been entrenched for many years. This is just a reminder. General Prayut?  a control freak? No, can’t be true.

Ha ha somebody should inform the PM that hemp is used extensively to make Muay Thai ring ropes, gloves, ship ropes and hawser lines as well as being used in many military applications too. I hope he does not have any plans to replace all of this with nylon ropes?
