I think you're confusing it with the Thai film 'Chocolate'. (2008)

Totally agree, brilliant. 

The ending fight sequences are probably the best that have ever been filmed. I wince every time I watch them. And the others in the film are just as good.

I remember watching it in the Cinema here in Pattaya my side's were sore for a week I laughed so much.

My True Friend (2012)  - Absolute cracker of a film about gang violence with a lot of recognizable filming locations in Chiang Mai. Mario Maurer is great in the lead role. Best Thai film I’ve seen.
