A win for ‘Win’ motorcycle taxi riders today after new rules that will force Grab riders to the same transportation regulations. Of course the new rules will probably force up the prices for Grab bikes from next month when the app-based ride-hailing service will have to comply with the same rules governing ‘Win Motocy’ motorcycle taxis riders. That memo, will that reach Phuket? There are almost no yellow plated moto-taxis anymore, the/a drivers vest is often the only thing, that is the difference to "black" moto taxis.

The same goes for Pattaya. You hardly see a yellow number plate on the Win drivers motorcycles.

Only ones in nearly 15 years here the army on 2014 got nearly all on yellow plates and insurance but as usual police let it slip out of control so now we a back to square one.
