Life in the Isaan Boonies.
Everything in England seems to be a rip off Owl. The family back home says food has doubled in price in the last year or so. Very cheap still here in the boonies though. Can go out with 200 baht, buy a new shirt, a pair of shorts, eat a decent meal and still have enough left for a tuk tuk ride home. Two of my old local clubs met in the National League South; Aveley v Hornchurch. Points shared. And another team Dagenham & Redbridge - where I lived less than a mile away from the ground - got whacked at home. Fulham are an interesting team at the mo. From what I gather it's attack, attack attack under all circumstances. Good to see. I'm still confident that the Owls will make the play-offs. Darts start up again today. In my whole darting career, I scored maybe 20 180s. Although I did hit 174 quite a few times. These guys are getting as many as 10 180s in one match. No rain forecast for the rest of the year. 87 dry days and counting. Maybe get some in March 2025. The £ v Baht is gradually worsening. 42.8 this morning. -

News Forum - Thai police collaborate with UK to improve detainee conditions
It amazes me that these basics human rights still need to be explained in 2025. And then you have the same people who need to be explained that that complain the world is still such a bad place without understanding that the exact reasons why it is however a far much better place than back in obscur barbarian times are exactly the ones they do not wish to be applied to other human beings in 2025 (but to us, of course).- 1

News Forum - Thai police collaborate with UK to improve detainee conditions
Sure, and you are the center of the World and above anyone else. "Never locked up" does not mean that you never broke the law, I can guarantee you that you have broken the law somewhere at some point, most likely also laws that you did not know they existed (does not matter wether you know or not, the result is the same). Now I will assume that you have been a driver all your life. Never ever you have driven at least 5 miles an hour above the lawful limit anywhere in the world? Well I will assume again that you have just once, surely you get that it is highly possible. Now imagine that you caused an accident and killed someone the only single time in your all life you drove above the limit (and I add another element: you forgot to indicate as well, an easy mistake to make.... a mistake, do you understand?). Of course, you end up in jail. How would you like to be treated? Like a human being so with the minimum of decency ? It is a rational argument so please if you wish to answer, do so rationally. That is all my post was saying: do not treat others the way you do not wish to be treated. It is the 21st century, we are not barbarians anymore. If the law decides to put you in jail to take your freedom away for your crime, that's your punishment. I do not even understand why this needs to be explained today.- 1
