This is really good to see. Clearly this guy didn’t have the contacts or money he needed to escape this. It’s definitely one to keep an eye on in future years. Perhaps some appeal quietly undertaken a few years from now will resolve the embarrassment.

I was surprised he was charged with intentionally murdering others by “dangerously torturing”.  I’d have thought all torture was dangerous to the person receiving it. I wonder where the line is drawn in what is considered dangerous torture and safe torture?

This will all be smoke & mirrors for the Public to think justice has been served🤔

He will  probably get home visits a few weeks then weekly parole  then daily parole!

As long as the public think he’s in prison?🤔

All his Assets that were seized ?

Probably the alleged payback for getting out in a few months when people forget about him & think he is in prison?

Not sure ?

But just a guess?

Otherwise?

where does the revenue for the seized assets go?🤔🤫💰

Is this the purpose of the new privacy bill so next time somebody show a police do something wrong he go jail and the bad cop can stay free?

Nah, only if the person being filmed is shamed, 😛

He might try an appeal?

He will probably appeal against the verdict or the sentence. No much of a chance he will get less than a life sentence from a successful appeal. The prosecutors can/should lodge an appeal against any reduced sentence thereby taking it to Supreme Court aka the end of the road.

As an unwritten rule, Royal Pardons are only considered after 12 years of incarceration. Regular pardons (sentence reductions) are awarded to nearly all prisoners to commemorate special occasions (eg: most often - every 12th birthday of select Royals, Constitution Day etc). As he received a life sentence he and his cronies will not be eligible for any reduction until after 8 years served. Life to 50 years for his first reduction, to 25 on his second and so on. He will be eligible for parole at 1/3 of 50/25 etc. He’ll probably do 15 years maximum before release on parole (remorse filled ex cop model prisoner that made a mistake yada yada…)

No such thing as day release for Thai inmates. It is a 24x7 job until paroled or sentence complete. Substituting someone to take his place in prison won’t work either. Social media is good for something.

His assets are still his assets and cannot be sold until it is proven they were purchased with the proceeds of crime. Good luck with that.
