The attack on the UK police is unreasonable. The police did not set the bail, nor did they order his release. The parole authority gave release based upon the laws in place at the time. The man had a passport in order to enter Thailand. If a legal document, that passport should have been confiscated and travel privileges suspended. The UK police do not enforce passport regulations.  Thai immigration was the authority that allowed him entry in Thailand, not the UK police. The man who was walking about  free for the past 8 years was aided and abetted by locals and countrymen. Someone was supplying kids to him.  The UK police did not do that.  Blaming the UK police takes away the responsibility of those who knew the accused's past and what he was doing.

Do we know when the red notice was issued by the U.K. authorities? If it was 2013, then why has it taken so long to find him in Thailand?
