International airlines have been issued with a notice from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, advising them of revised rules for entry to the kingdom from today. CAAT chief, Suttipong Kongpool, says all international airlines serving Thailand are required to screen and categorise passengers into 3 groups. The first group is the fully vaccinated passengers, who, if suspected of having Covid-19 symptoms, should self-test with an antigen test. Will the CAAT include landing on the correct runway or do we have to wait for a catastrophic incursion before they include it?

for landing aircrafts in the correct runway, there is a " airport pass" you need to register !, you need to choose the correct airport and runway, so as to ensure the pilot follow your guideline !!

Suttipong say's the the Thailand Pass is now easier... But we STILL have to do all the prep work..Take photos, upload (are we still not allowed JPEGs..?) proof of everything, copies need to be printed off, standards met, all before approval...All needless IMO, except they now have a better record of you/your details, so they will not drop this formality in a hurry..If (like myself) a person is coming in on a long-stay visa then OK, but for a family planning a beach-holiday with a coupla kids, then......
