The Japan National Tourism Organisation announced entry rules for tour companies allowed to enter Japan with their groups on June 10 for the first time since the pandemic in 2020. Not to worry. In another report today, the trial to offer Thai tourist packages has been halted due to one of the group of four testing positive for Covid. Makes you wonder if the 4,000 cases a day figure is anything close to an accurate reflection of infection rates. Maybe it’s confusion over the Thai numerals and the real number is 104,000 a day 😉

This info from BP seems outdated. Japan will reopen from tomorrow with a red/yellow/blue countries scheme: https://www.mofa.go.jp/ca/fna/page4e_001053.html point (2).

Basically blue countries' and vaccinated yellow countries' citizens are free to enter Japan as they please without restrictions (no quarantine, no test).

Thailand is in the blue group, btw.
