Thankfully, most crims are not often that bright. So they come here to hide or "retire" and get nabbed easily.

The point is, he got busted. And that's good regardless of where he does time. Even if he ever gets out, good luck trying to leave the UK with a criminal record for noncing. Won't gonna happen unless he stows away on a banana boat.
