More than 90 days in 6 months?

Hi

I'm from the UK and visited Thailand for 47 days from March 12th to April 28th. I intend to go back with a multi-entry tourist visa in early July which would take me over the 90 days in a 6 month period rule that I keep seeing. I don't know the specifics of the rule (is that a rolling 6 months?) and just wondering if you think the visa would be rejected or I would encounter any issues.
Any advice on the best way to stay for 3-6 months from July would be appreciated :)

Thanks

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

There is no 90 day in a 6-month period rule.
If you have a valid Visa for the purpose of your visit, it isn't a problem.

The METV is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
Each entry permits a stay of 60 days, which can be extended by a further 30.
You can stay up to almost 9 months on a METV.
