Replace UK plugs with Thai plugs?

Hi

We have recently landed in Phuket to live and our UK 'stuff' arrived today.  Due to my incompetence I cut the UK 3 pin plug off my Sonos soundbar before moving (didn't realise that the power cable was detachable) and didn't pack the plug.  All the other UK plugs I have are moulded plastic so can't remove from another piece of kit and wire the Sonos.

 

My question is - can I safely put a Thai plug onto the Sonos soundbar cable?

Buy a new cable for the Sonos with a Thai plug moulded onto it.

But otherwise it is simple & safe to fit a Thai plug.

Thanks for the response, appreciate.  Will try the first if I can source one else screwdriver out!
