Thailand and Malaysia have strengthened bilateral ties in a bid to stamp out insurgency in the deep south. Defence Ministry spokesperson Lt Gen Kongcheep Tantravanich confirmed Malaysia will continue to support efforts to negotiate peace with insurgent groups in the deep South.
