And yet they are. I've never seen as much home building/renovations/new purchases of land in my area as since 2020. Some lots that were untouched for years have all of a sudden, found buyers now in the past 6-12 months.

Only because the wealthier found great opportunities at cheap prices cause so many are desperate to sell for instant cash, not because of this BS "people want larger living space" and other crap of that kind.
