This is precisely why gambling should be banned in this country. This company could not even win, so how can the normal folk win at gambling?

Duh!! No market research before investing 40M THB? The real story is more likely that the pols built the unneeded airport so as to grift about 30% of the total build costs. Every city has beautiful buildings and facilities that go empty and unused. Buildings, public works projects and huge military purchases are the easiest projects to siphon from.

Nonsense. Let adults gamble legally. I'm sick of this childish nanny state government telling me whether I'm allowed to breathe in public and the gambling ban is another example of this. Even neighboring countries have legalized it, and their citizens are even less able to control their behavior than Thais.

I don't think they gambled. Rather they were  "encouraged" to offer route.  Think of it like a 1930's classic Edward G Robinson movie where big Louie asks for a "favour", yes?

Who would travel to Betong before the Malaysia borders are open?
