Immigration Khon Kaen, anybody who knows

Hi there,

from my experience, the immigration officers are unfriendly, where many expats live (e.g. Krabi) and much more friendly at provinces with few expats. As I might have to change my address, I would like to know if there is anybody who can comment on Khon Kaen Immigration?

That is where I went with 2 thai girls who helped me through the process. As far as I could tell everything went smooth and friendly. It helped that one of the girls has a UK husband and had been to the office before. She may even have had a friend who works there but I don't think it was the official that helped me with the extension...All I had to do was smile and sign papers with a blue ink pen. Oh and fork over the bahts.
