Big Mama Italian - Asoke

This delightful restaurant is tucked away in the 1st soi north of Asoke/Terminal21, in between Suk 19 and 21.  It has ample indoor seating despite a small frontage and a few outdoor tables set back from the road.

The same owners for 23 years ensure consistency with a wide range of popular dishes.  I shall certainly return here each time I visit Bangkok.  Check out the full menu HERE

I have dined at Big Mamas Italian many times over theyears. I was last there in December 2021 while returning from the USA. The food is excellent and the prices are very fair. I often stay at one of the local Hotels right in that neighborhood when visiting BKK a few times each year. I would recommend the Black Swan just around the corner as well. Best Pub Food in Bangkok. Cheers!

Agreed the big Mama food and old fashioned ambience is great, however their wine selection is kinda limited and their kitchen extraction system could do with a revamp as we all came away with clothes reeking of cooking smells
