Travel advice from Phuket airport to Patong beach

Morning ladies & gents,

I wanted to get some advice on how to get from Phuket airport to Patong beach, please. If there are any taxi companies you could recommend than that would be great? Alternatively, if there are other means of transport i could use, then would love to know?

That should do, as long you are not too far away, with the hotel, from the route of the bus.  (It stops where you ring it to stop) Because "TukTuks" will charge you minimum 200 Baht, perhaps more, just from the bus stop to the hotel, even in case it is just 200m up a sideroad.

Aside there are "real" meter taxis at the Airport and so called "limousine services", full charter cars from Airport to hotel. Plus shared Minibuses, with drop off at your hotel. But the chance, that they wanna change your booking on the way or are trying to claim commission, for getting you there. And the wait, till the load is full.

Many thanks! Can anyone kindly suggest how much should i expect to pay for a cab from the airport to Patong? I have heard multiple horror stories about cab drivers duping tourists etc.
