There is no "Pfizer" vaccine, just the one produced by BionTech in Germany which is distributed by Pfizer ("Corminaty"). It's good to learn that Thailand is gaining independence in this regard - and good to have a vaccine that is more efficient than Sinovac.

But the real challenge is to now organize and set up the production, storage and distribution. Hope that all goes well.

I vaguely remember a promise timeline that is one year too late. Surface only when the dust settles.

To develop, test and bring a new mRNA-vaccine to the market is not an easy feat. And time is a critical factor. A year ago the availability of vaccines in the whole world has been limited. Now the situation has changed, which will also make the marketing much more difficult. The article makes no reference to the cost of a single dose, yet it would be interesting to know if it will be in the same price range as Moderna and BionTech (around 300-500 THB/shot). If the Thai vaccine would be comparably effocient but cheaper that would be an advantage of course.
