Woman dies after jumping from Phra Khanong BTS station in Bangkok

In an apparent suicide, a 38 year old woman jumped from the busy Phra Khanong BTS station over Bangkok’s Sukhumvit Road yesterday afternoon. First responders and police officers from the Klong Tan station were called to the scene and attempted to resuscitate the woman. Reports say the woman had critical head injuries and died on the way to Police General Hospital. Police searched the woman’s body and found 2 notes that appear to have been written by the woman. This is the real costs of unnecessary lockdowns, causing business closures and mass job losses. In a Nation that doesn't have the capacity to offer government welfare to help replace some of the living costs, what else are people left to do, commit crimes to get enough money to pay the rent, buy food etc?? Tragic and terrible. No family ever recovers from these incidents. Condolences to the family and friends of this poor lady who felt so helpless that she decided this was the only thing left for her.
