I have no idea why Putin still keeps Lavrov around. His name should be laughrov cause his stupid comments are quite funny. Now Putin has had to apologize to the Israelis, lol. That must have been a not so great day for him. One can only wonder what blunder laughrov will do next. But it is so typical. Putin has surrounded himself by idiots. It is no wonder Ukraine has been a nightmare for Putin as he has no clue what the reality of the situation is and all his cronies are not that bright.

I think that if Mariupol falls there will never be any surrender or peace deal with Russia. The Ukrainians have not forgotten what happened the last time the Russians said you can escape, don't worry we will let you go.   That was the battle of Ilovaisk where the Russians agreed to let the Ukrainians surrender only to massacre them once they started to withdraw. The Ukrainians now will never surrender Mariupol as they know the Russians cannot be trusted. There are already reports of Ukrainians soldiers who have surrendered at Mariupol who were wounded and who now are dead with wounds to the back of the head. You simply cannot trust Russian soldiers, their commanders or their leader. So there is no point to surrender as war criminals do not have honor.

Putin only understands force and he is going to get a lesson in what happened in Vietnam. The West will supply endless weapons, Russia will run out of weapons, and ultimately the West will laugh at how badly Russia will be the longer they drag this on. In fact the West wants Russia to be stubborn and stupid. Normally when one digs themself in a hole the smart move is to stop digging. But Putin just makes the hole bigger and bigger. He eventually will not be able to get out of the hole and the mess he has done all on his own. He never should have invaded Ukraine. But as Forest Gump once said, "Stupid is as Stupid does". And as a result Putin will not be getting a box of chocolates, lol. Lavrov...., I still keep laughing at the brainless comments he makes..... He really just spouts nonsense and no one listens to what he says anymore except the Russians who watch their nonsense tv.

Your opinion of Putin’s popularity is your opinion. His lap dog social analysts claim he has an 83.5% approval rating. I’m sure Zelenskyy’s puppy mill can produce a bigger figure if they ignore the Southern and Eastern regions. After all 20% of refugees disagree. Another Russian warship became the target of a Ukrainian attack on Friday, a clear blow for Moscow following the sinking of the Moskva warship last month. Ukrainian missiles hit Russia's Admiral Makarov warship, part of the Black Sea fleet, according to reports. Makarov, one of only three ships of its class, is feared to be sunk in the coming hours which could be a big blow to Moscow. It is believed to have been hit near Snake island in the Black Sea. Russia has also begun rescue operations with several aircraft and rescue boats. It's reported that the ship was hit by the Neptune missiles, which destroyed Russia's Moskva warship last month.

 

Ukrainian military planes flying over the region have confirmed that the ship was hit by missiles. Satellite pictures have also shown that the Russian ship was burning. The Russians will never let the soldiers from Mariupol escape. Their words are empty promises. Thus the Ukrainians know they will have to fight to the death or hang on until Ukrainian counterattacks start pushing the Russians back which ultimately will start happening once they start getting their long range artillery.

Maybe you should go to Ukraine and see for yourself what is really happening as you clearly seem to doubt what Russia is doing or maybe you are a typical Russian paid influencer who casts doubt on anything against Russia. Its ok as everyone has their opinions and being patriotic to Russia or desperate for money is not a bad thing as ultimately Putin will get replaced and many years from now the hideous legacy of Ukraine may ultimately be forgiven just like WW2 was to the Germans.

And this is really wonderful news as I also just read it in the international news. Bad for the the fallout of pollution to the sea, but yet another blow to Czar buffoon Putin. Hopefully this will increase his hand shakes and give him and anuerysm and full nervous breakdown. Couldn't happen to a not nicer person. Hopefully the russian boys will be able to retreat back home soon to a better place without the next ahole taking the reins. Next let's hope XI has the same down fall with a total fallout coming from an uprising sick of him and the CCP. 1st Video brings to mind the tactics of the German army when they were rounding up Jews in Warsaw. Come out, come out, we will relocate you to a nice place. Surrender, and no harm will come to you, etc. And we all know how that ended. 

2nd video shows local militia members. Those are not regular Ukrainian troops. Hint: look at the garments - Not principal Ukrainian army uniforms.

What goes on in Mariupol now is more akin to an upscaled policing action than a battle. Think Stalingrad on January the 28th. The West is desperate for Russian units to throw themselves at bitter and desperate remnants of die-hard nazi followers. 

    Russia is not going to shed a drop of blood as long as there is a tumor walled off. 

     The redeployment and reorganization of the Russian and Donbass military units is now ongoing. At the same time, standoff weapons and especialyl artillery and air bombing is now increasingly being used in order to minimize casualties. 

     And the West can do nothing but try to egg on Russians to charge uphill. Not going to happen. 

      I wonder if we can have Justin Bieber; Spice Girls or Madonna come up with something to match this patriotic display.

Of course the Russians will not let them escape. They will allow them to surrender and have offered this numerous times. Previously 1,126 Ukrainian soldiers at Mariupol surrendered and are now POWs. There are numerous problems for the Azov soldiers trapped at the steelworks. 1) Either Zelenskky will not order them to surrender or they are refusing his order. 2) Russia intends to put them on trial for alleged war crimes 3) They are portrayed as neo Nazis by both MSM and Russia 4) They haven’t forced the civilians trapped underground out the door with white flags above their heads opening them up to accusations of using human shields. Russia will treat the bitter core in the Azovstal like the US does with important prisoners. They may even be given a Julian Assange treatment, but compared to him, I doubt many of these people will be as principled as not to break and spill quite a few beans. 

    We do not know yet what people ARE left in the Azovstal catacombs, but we DO know that every single one of them will be identified, even if they all burn themselves to death with flame throwers first. 

      The West is getting more and more desperate knowing this. Not only will these captives bolster the Russian claims of criminals, but it will also rally even MORE support for this from the RUssian people's side-

I think the Nazis weren’t quite that subtle. The Russians, understandably, can’t pull a trick with some people. Surrendering  means, to some, that the Ukrainians will be executed after they surrender. Bomb them when they refuse to surrender and “Big meanie!” is the petulant cry. This is a war you know….  The 2nd video shows guys that were shooting at Russians. Soldiers or militia is irrelevant. The important thing to note is that they are not all dead. The Ukrainians are digging up dead Russian solders and swapping them for live Ukrainian POWs. Kyiv Independent has that gem of a story.  There have also been exchanges of live POWs from both sides. I wonder where the Russian POWs that were kneecapped are now? Either getting physiotherapy in Kyiv or pushing up daisies in a Ukrainian wheat field. Zelenskky claims 400 hospitals & clinics have been destroyed so my money is on the wheat field.
