With the changes to the Thailand Pass, scheduled to kick on from May 1 (after the changes have been detailed and endorsed by Royal Gazette), there will only be 2 categories of people coming into Thailand, vaccinated and unvaccinated. The US CDC vaccination card only includes first/last name and birthdate as identifying information. It does not include passport number or any other ID number. That has been good enough to have my 7 COE/Thailand Pass applications approved.

COVID insurance or it’s unavailability, is still a problem for travelers over 75. But the biggest discrepancy appears to be the Insurance company’s disregard for the traveler's vaccine status as a factor for cost of coverage. It’s seems that they lump unvaccinated tourist along with the fully vaccinated.

The unvaccinated should get a discount because they haven’t destroyed their innate immune system

someone running this fine thai pass fiasco should post excactly  which iinsurances are accepted and which aren't. Because some aren't. Even some policies stating world wide covid coverage of US $100K
