The PM’s spokesperson has praised Lisa and Bambam from K-Pop brands Blackpink and Got7, together with a young Thai rapper Mill,  for helping the government promote Thailand’s ‘soft power’. The spokesperson said those artists revealed Thailand’s soft power to the international eyes according to the government measure. Last year, Lisa from Blackpink joined the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2021, and made all Thai people proud of her. Article Quote: She was another artist and Thai teenager who encouraged Thailand’s soft power, according to the government’s policy.”

But just last year Milli had been charged for criticising the government via Twitter during the anti-government protests. Other people claimed the government were just jumping on the popularity bandwagon and believed that the idea of promoting Thailand through government-endorsed ‘soft power’ was the last thing the performers were probably thinking about, and that they were simply proud of their country and happy to promote Thailand incidentally.

This regime and who they support cannot take credit for these Thai youngsters and their love of Thai Food and the country. The last thing one would think is these performers probsably do not have any love what so ever for them. Plainly probably just the opposite. But I am very happy about Milli playing Coachella as is really great thing.

Yeah, sure, whatever you say, Komrade.  Visit any Pharmacy in BKK and ask for a small blue pill to help with your soft power problem.

I'd hazard a guess that Milli is laughing her cute little butt off at this lame attempt by government spokesman to fabricate positive propaganda while concurrently mocking her and the others.   Wonder if she'll let it slide, or live up to her edgy marketing hype by firing a Twitter N-LAW down this shill's neck, then pen another painfully bad rap song to mock him.

This lot in the government would take credit for the sun rising if they thought they could get away with it. How can a former Army General who came to power by rolling tanks and troops, possibly think he can talk about Soft Power. It’s incredible how blind they are to reality. They are nothing more than a bunch of thugs who overthrew an democratically elected government using military force. Soft power? Fu*ks Sake!!
