Thaiger Talk Quiz #059 - Markets in Thailand

Recommended Posts

I guessed 2 of them and managed to get a respectable 5. I hope I'm not revealing any answers but the last one is actually my favorite market because that is where I managed to get a few authentic Ralph Lauren polos for just a measly 150 or 200 baht and some Armani Exchange for also around that same price.

That neighboring country is famous for it's garment industry and that particular market which the locals refer to as Talad Rong Gleua (Salt warehouse market) is where defective goods that doesn't pass those brand's quality requirement (think very minor sewing defects) are sent (or rather smuggled?) to.

This is good intel @Noble_Design thank you for the tip. I’ve heard good things about that market, and I’ve been wanting to check it out.

Day markets, street markets and night markets are a feature of just about every locale in Thailand. How much do you know?

3 out of 5 with some lucky guessing is not too bad.
