News Forum - Holiday nightmare: British citizen stranded in Thai hospital with a 400,000 baht plea to escape
Thai Hospitals always looking to shamelessly make money. Was diagnosed severe heart stenosis ( two spots) recently by BPH looking for pricey stent work no doubt. Priority NHS angiogram on basis BPH report revealed only moderate stenosis in two places ( one important artery one unimportant) managed by diet -exercise -medication. Aspirin only for me. Wont do Statins. BPH also quoted me 50k for unnecessary Skin Cancer Surgery. Robbers in medical gowns. Went down the road to Siriroj where the old skin doc treated all on walk in with cryofreeze gas 2k baht total ! -

News Forum - Holiday nightmare: British citizen stranded in Thai hospital with a 400,000 baht plea to escape
Sorry to hear that. I asked as I returned to England after I had been here a year a few years ago. I had unimaginable pain in my arms, legs, and shoulders, my white cell count was over the top and I was losing a kg every few days. Initially, the doctors in the UK suspected it was bone cancer due to other factors so I had a full MRI scan and all sorts of tests and it was all negative. I was living on very strong painkillers for a few months and then it all went away, we never found out the reason. I went back to 'normal'. It is the reason I asked about Dengue fever symptoms. -

News Forum - Find authenticity and adventure in the big Isaan cities
Beats me, I have travelled around Isaan both cities and smaller towns and found nothing spectacularly different from the rest of Thailand (outside the tourist traps of Phuket Pattaya etc) -

Old Britsh films
Yeah there are so many old British films but I would like to suggest some old movies which I have watched I think you must see them : 1.) The Last King of Scotland 2.) Interstellar 3.) Titanic 4.) John Wick 5.) GoodFellas Sometimes I think how this cinema world changed so fast first movie was made without any voice, only expressions were there, then we covered a huge era from black & white to colors, and then the era of VFX, animation, and the green screen came, the things are changes so fast in coming years so much new technology we will witness, Thanks cinema to be a part of our life.
