Drugs... the bigger than Covid Pandemic ? I guess so because this is a worldwide pest that destroys entire cultures/countries. The daily drug arrests reports seem as normal as the daily weather report. Duterte, the philippines PM tried to prevent his country becoming the next Mexico by using drastic measures but also failed. Cambodia sees daily arrests, mostly with chinese, taiwanese traffickers / manufacturers of drugs.

The global illegal drug trade and wars against it will never end until the big, tax free money is taken out of the equation.  The US prohibition against alcohol didn’t stop alcohol, it just forced it underground into the hands of criminals. Drugs are the same. Regulation, taxation, public education and harm minimization are what is needed to tame this beast. It cannot be slayed by legislation, only cut down to size by a willing public. Declaring any forbidden fruit off limits has never worked, quite the opposite.
