fine for overstaying

im going to overstay my 30days visa for 1 extra day, can the fine be paid with credit card or they accept cash only on airport?

In Bangkok it might be, in Phuket they already charge for 30 minutes in the future.

Meaning is, your flight is early morning, 00.30am,  on day 31, you get to immigration before midnight, but still they charge you, cause you will overstay before your scheduled flight starts. They even charge for kids (under six, I think) in Phuket, which is usually not even done, if it is more as one day.

A friend of mine was "lucky" for the first day charge, thinking of no charge on day one, another with his wife and daughter for the second and just one day overstaying , too.

On Phuket, things are often different to other provinces.
