A 90 year old woman from the northeast province of Chaiyaphum passed away after she was attacked by wasps near her home on Wednesday. The woman suffered hundreds of wasp stings all over her face and body and was rushed to hospital but later died. The woman’s son said his mother, Chutima Phongchaiyaphum, liked to eat mangoes and was possibly out looking for mangoes to pick when she collided with a wasps nest that was hanging just a metre off the ground. When you least expect it ,one can easily come face to face with life threatening danger!

The old women probably didn’t see it until to late!

Had to rush my mother in law off to the hospital, 6 months ago with a similar experience !

She stayed overnight and pulled through ok!
