That’s nice but they are talking about police cells not prisons and a crime has yet to be proven. Regardless, detaining people in squalor is not acceptable. Plus someone needs to hold Thai police to account. They are infamously corrupt and would have dungeons and torture chambers if not for external scrutiny. -

TM30 a must. Even then your IO may not issue a residence certificate unless it's for a residential address. What address would you like in the motorcycle logbook, an Airbnb? -

News Forum - Thai police removed after video exposes traffic fine misconduct
2 things here first of all I think the important word here is "temporary" as he will undoubtedly not get fired for his extortion, second he was not temporarily removed for 'collecting traffic fines personally' he got temporarily removed for getting filmed and it hitting social media. The senior officers will continue to act like they don't know the majority if not all of their officers are corrupt!
