but there is a war and there is a front line, you can't deny that. So calling for military actions when your civilians are not on the front lines is quite easy to do.

Zelensky should be fighting for a peace solution instead of touring world leaders with his passionate Zoom calls.

But I guess acting is easier, and you get standing ovation for your performance while civilians are being attacked.

a real state man find solutions, don't alienate allies with sacrifice or try to act a part.

You live really in a paralell universe and have lost any sense of reality. Claiming loosing Russian civillians on the front line is really the proove for it and no doubt about it anymore. It is the most absurd and insane I ever read to invade a country and then complaining loosing the soldiers (btw they are not civillians) is really insane. You are definetly burnt.

Ukraine supported by NATO won’t fail. If it does NATO certainly won’t.

Putin (like Xi or trump) a Symptom.
Russians ( like CCP & US democrats) the Disease.

Russia’s Lifelong Obsession with “ Strong Leaders” and resultant Communism / Gangsterism / WMD, in Russia & China , has lead us to this point, with Taiwan on the horizon this decade.

Humanity extremely lucky not to have been obliterated in 1980’s or earlier by Soviet belligerence. Moscow & Beijing should have been nuked in 1940’s to snuff out Communism before it obtained nuclear weapons

Of course, now we have other ELE now like Bioweapons, AI, Climate Change, Meteor, Overpopulation.

Time for a Chang I think.

You don't get it, and I suspect you never will get it.

what you keep missing in the alternate reality you guys are living is that there is a war, and this is not some Hollywood blockbuster with Bruce Willis saving the day

in reality, the bully always wins, Zelensky is not in a position to ask for anything but to make a deal to stop the war

I think you misread what I wrote. I was claiming that Ukraine civilians were on the front line, and posters promoting resistance to death, are not the ones on the front lines.

nobody in Ukraine should be fighting,

nobody should, yet they are. That's the point you keep missing in this war. Civilians are caught in the middle of this. Someone will have to yield to stop this war, and it's not going to be Putin, the brutal bully.

Especially Not from a Beaten Weak Humiliated  Isolated Dying Russia.
Russia now has Zero Credibility re. Agreements.

Ukraine & NATO will continue their Plan to Bleed Russia Dry ….so they NEVER return …..even after Reduced Russia Leaves Ukraine.

The Ukranians are not going to yield, they are fighting for their country. Why do you keep mentioning "civilians" it is the Russians that are killing them and you expect the Ukranians to yield, time to wake up and smell the coffee. You do not have an argument so why keep making one.

the best solution is always the simple one,

Criminal Putin & FSB Goons all Convicted & Exiled to Siberia or Shot.

Initial Military Govt. Transition to Real Elections & Democracy.

Reparations to Ukraine for next 50 Years.

Simple & Best Solution for Russia & Russian People before being led to Complete Catastrophe by Evil Criminal Clown Putin.

the solution is quite simple:

1. Change the Ukraine constitution, remove the NATO part, and pledge for a neutral Ukraine

2. NATO and Russia sign an agreement to exclude certain countries from joining

3. Give autonomous region status, not independence, to Russian assets to keep Ukraine whole

4. Zelensky resign and organize new elections, he is burn

1. Ok - 2. NATO can’t do that it’s against their charter - 3. Ok - 4. Zelensky would win in a landslide

Couple of problem besides the fact there is no logical reason to require a democratically elected president to resign. First there is nothing in this for Russia they would never agree. Second there Ukraine needs compensation, you can’t just attack, crush cities and walk away like nothing happen.

then the US and EU member states should co-sign the agreement instead, you can't trust the US alone to abide to any bi-lateral agreement, they have a history of renegading whatever they signed in the past. Thank you Trump and GW Bush.

possibly, but he failed to deliver in a lot of his promises. And his actions have created the whole situation with Moscow. He might not be re-elected. That said, it's going to take some time to organize a free and fair election in Ukraine, possibly years.

So Ukraine is the cannon fodder for NATO’s plan to bleed Russia dry? I’m sure news of that plan will go down well with the Ukrainians next election time. And how brave of many people to back this plan by saying that Ukraine should fight to the death especially when they’re 1000’s of kms away fondling their keyboards. Zelenskyy must sue for peace. All the best wishes and hero worship in the world won’t stop the shells falling.

Nothing to do with individuals here or “ front lines” . do try to say something sensible, realize that’s hard locked in there with Putin & his Alternate Fake “ Justified / Threatened” Reality ……

Defensive Free Nations are NOT any kind of material threat to a nuclear armed Tyranny…..unless Physically Attacked of course…..

US Treaty Compliance WAY Better than USSR / Russia….Trump simply Cancelled Treaties not in US Interest….Bush breached no treaties.

He may have failed or not in a lot of his promises, but he is gaining eventual elections now. All that is past is forgotten, it is the situation atm that counts in politics. It is a simple and important rule. You can verifie with election results in every country. You handle an existing situation bad, like economics/Covid/... forget winning an election.
The memory of the public/voters is very short.
