Koh Phangan’s famous Full Moon Party has been given the green light for Songkran, the Thai New Year known for massive water fights, but there hasn’t been any word if water splashing will be allowed. The Bangkok Communicable Disease Committee has decided to prohibit powder smearing and foam parties during the Songkran festival next month.

They will allow traditional water sprinkling under the Covid-free setting, but alcohol consumption in organising venues will not be permitted.

Water splashing, powder smearing and foam parties are prohibited in roads and other public areas.

 

Gonna be lots of waterproof brown envelopes 🤫
