Stories about how the housing market is. That’s what caused the financial problems in 2008 with banks. And the covid pandemic has surely caused a lot of problems in the housing markets from renters not paying rent and then you are not allowed to evict. People not working and losing their home. Businesses closed and now available on the market for real estate sales. It’s all connected

I don’t just get my information from one source. I have seen this on several websites and a news media company was talking about it on their morning radio show. So I have done several searches.  Also. In China. The CCP controls the news media and information and the internet.  So you living in China doesn’t allow you to get truthful information.  Where’s I am able to read any websites and listen to news that’s not controlled by the communist party.  So here’s a copy of the information about it on another website. And I have included several screenshots of sites. But you probably won’t be able to access those websites because you don’t have freedom to access the internet

Stop talking utter deluded nonsense - I can't be arsed to go through it all but the 'run' on Canadian banks which didn't happen, is to do with suffocating a bunch of moronic truckers that wanted to stop people being vaccinated and starving funds coming into them from the gullible. But wait the banks did experience a hitch and went offline for....wait for it.......5 hours !! My bank does that every weekend for IT updates! Re 2008 - you are correct big problem, but that problem which happened FOURTEEN years ago due to sub prime mortgages cannot happen now due to stringent lending requirements that were imposed as a result. You'll also find property owners have made a killing since then yes ? You cannot find anything more recent ?

People not paying rent and unable to be evicted - it's been and gone. You can evict any non payer now. Though where you get a connection from Russian's trying to withdraw money at an atm to landlords with poor tenants to herald the end of the world is hilarious.

I know of a very large company in Phuket, it has  been buying large plots of land for decades, it builds around 350 house-shops, single/double story detached houses, semi detached houses at a time and they are sold off-plan within a week of going on the market (pre covid), they then move onto the next project.

The quality of the houses, pavements, roads, street drainage is excellent, I live in one when I am in Phuket, it has been great for the last twelve years.

I think this company is not dim about the property market, or sits on houses waiting until an unreachable price is arrived at like many on this forum have stated, just because some Thais are dim it does not mean they all are.

I have seen a few individuals selling houses which have been sitting there for a few years, they are not really in a rush to sell, they will eventually get some daft farang buying it at some point.
