News Forum - Pattaya traffic crackdown: Real reform or just for show?
One can see in 3 months time. it is best just tow the illegally parked vehicles and charge the owner the towing fee and a penalty for illegal parking. That way all the tow truck operators will be getting some income and the tow truck drivers can keep a watchful eye for those illegally parking vehicles. All they need is to alert the police and police be there when they are towing the vehicle to Police station or some centralized secured parking area where once the vehicle enter the centralised secured parking facility a daily parking rate can be charged until the verhicle is cleard. That way can generate more income for the city council. -

News Forum - Drunken tourist brawl erupts in Phuket, sparks online outrage (video)
Not certain why you posted this - perhaps in response to my statement about why Tesla chose Malaysia as its Regional Hub for manufacturing and supply to SEAsia?? Yes Tesla has a factory for production of its cars for cars to be sold in China (part of the deal to be allowed to sell Tesla cars in China). But Malaysia is planned to be their regional hub in SEAsia - below is a quick Google search result (take a look). Tesla chose Malaysia as a regional hub for supply and sales of electric vehicles (EVs) due to its strong electrical and electronics industry. Tesla's entry into Malaysia in 2023 is part of a larger strategy to expand in Southeast Asia. Why Tesla chose Malaysia Strong electrical and electronics industry: Malaysia is a major producer of semiconductors, a key component for EVs. Government support: The Malaysian government has policies to promote EVs and has a New Industrial Master Plan 2030 to achieve net zero. When choosing where, it came down to 2 locations - Malaysia or Indonesia - Thailand was not short listed. Sure, Tesla will 'assemble' cars in Thailand and Indonesia etc etc, but the main components will be made in Malaysia, and the SEAsia HQ will be in Malaysia. -
