Has anyone got any idea what these are used for, my brother in law has just bought a stack of them. I asked my wife what they are and she said go in the ground.....are they really piles?

Yes that makes sense, but he is supposed to be building a bird house to keep his many birds in. Thanks

He has got many parrots what look like Australian Parakeets (budgies) and a cockatoo (no puns please) and unless he is going to put them on steroids I cannot for the life in me think what this structure is going to look like. Or maybe he is just building a nuclear bunker and not telling anyone.

His last attempt at DIY was laying flags on expanding foam, it ended up looking like the Blackpool big dipper. But God loves a trier.
