logic...the restrictions impossed by government onto the citicens and onto foreign visitors ( the main source of funding ) made everybody poorer...poorer people with uncertainty ahead don't eat in restaurants...when many businesses closes the situation gets worst... like an avalanche.. it builds up little by little first slow moving but as bigger its gets as faster it rolls..  once its hits nothing alive remains...now its down three quarter...later the money breakes and millions loose their jobs overnight...mass plundering of factory's and supermarkets in the tube ...a little venezuela in the coming

Mcdonald's will relish every moment of this "i'm lovin it"

After 100's of privately owned businesses have failed in Pattaya over the last 2 years, we are supposed to be sad for losing a fast food chain from America.  Yes Thai jobs will be lost and that is of course unfortunate

Kind of a shame as the Thais don't know much about making burgers.  They prefer to use grade-M beef that is full of gristle and who knows what else.  Then they squash the hell out of them as they grill. Result: a dry, tasteless patty peppered with little hard inedible bits.  Back to Burger King, I guess.

Meat in Thailand is horrendous

I know of one proper steakhouse in the whole country

And I would never even attempt to eat that Grey looking meat burger
