News Forum - Toddler takes the wheel: SUV crash kills two children in Buriram
Troll - having 'fun' abusing and arguing with others in an idiotic manner. Or as defined in a Google search "make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them." IMO it is best to block such a person - life is too short (and getting shorter). -

Private messages must remain confidential: Vote against the EU Chat Control!
Could not have said it any better - no one could - he/she/it is totally irrational and without any logical thought. Very much like a western female teenager denied something - all emotions and feelings. -

News Forum - Thailand to tax residents’ foreign income irrespective of remittance
I like that approach, and the inherent logic and sense of practicality behind it - and that is even without taking into account the vast majority of DTAs which mean Thailand cannot apply taxes to most money being brought into Thailand (especially if it has already been subject to tax). Meanwhile. Malaysia has extended their foreign source income tax exemptions for a further 10 years. Basically that means anyone who resides in Malaysia long term and qualifies as a tax resident will not have any money they bring into Malaysia subject to income taxes - as long as that money has previously been subjected to the tax requirements of the source country. That is inherently fair and reasonable and takes account of the realities of different taxation rules and periods in many countries, and accounts for their expensive but generous Expat Retirement Visas. The Thailand ignorance and stupidity in what they are doing is beyond analysis. -

News Forum - Pattaya hotel thief targets expat and transwoman
It isn't, however it is pretty much an industry norm in hotels to have self locking doors and that still doesn't answer the question of how self locking doors are 'big brother'.
