prepare for the Thailand Pass to not get scrapped in July, and bars closing back at 9pm in the coming weeks

Don't start it yet, prepare for Anutin, Opas, CCSA & the rest of the Thai government to freak out again first.

So there’s potentially a sub variant for which they have no information on but let’s publish a fear mongering update any way.

Meanwhile if omicron didn’t come along the much more deadly delta would still be circulating.

Omicron is the best vaccine that we never made,  according to many worldwide experts and acknowledged by the WHO. If the original  strain of Omicron is good news in the world of the pandemic (B1) and the second variant (B2) is no more lethal, then the there is every reason at present to believe that the latest variant  (B2.2) is not going to be a major issue. Yes it is believed to be highly contagious, but no more deadly than other strains of Omicron. Guess we'll see if the experts are right.

In the meantime,  keep soldering on and don't panic.

Even the vaccine God Bill Gates said it. Although he finds it "sad"...

Now it’s not concerning that it maybe in Thailand

The Public Health Ministry on Monday reported four cases of coronavirus infections which it suspects may be caused by a new mutant strain responsible for the worrying Covid-19 outbreak in Hong Kong, but assured that so far, authorities see no reason to be concerned.

But according to Borla of Pfizer’s revenue projections, oh Uhhh I’m sorry, I meant internal research a fourth dose in needed now! Because the first 3 worked so great.

Wonder why this posting doesn’t mention the infected foreigner’s ethnicity.   Regardless,  less than 3 %  (closer to 2 %) of new infections are from incoming tourist,  and most of these are from countries where test results can be “purchased”.  Many more  new infections are being caused by unvaccinated illegals sneaking across the border. But stopping these illegals is not of prime concern because cheap labor is important to wealthy supports of the government.
