But what about a cruise ship with something like 2000 passengers arriving at 0800 and leaving at 1800.

By the time everybody is tested and got the results the ship is already in the next port

Well do no test then. Everyone there caught Omicron at some point or another anyway.

And why not indeed.  Let's start again to destroy the natural underwater coral world after Covid allowed it to start to recover.  Let's ignore that and allow, uncontrolled,  thousands of ignorant tourists to do their worst in boats designed to do so much damage.  Good decision boys.

There is not one ship that wants sail close to coral reefs with the possibility of touching. The dammage to the hull and propellers would be to big, possible even catastrophical.

Even yachts will avoid reefs and rocks.
